Rodgers Insurance – Income Protection
Statistics recently released by insurance company AIA – state that less than 12% of kiwi’s actually have income protection insurance.
This means that for anything medically that keeps people off work, other than accidents, you could be left out in the cold without this valuable cover.
Many people still have this belief that ACC will pick up the pieces. Yet did you know that approximately 67% of people requiring time off work have illness-related disabilities, NOT injury-related disabilities, (which can be covered by ACC). This means you are not covered by ACC the majority of the time you are off work (unless you have an accident).
